Organisational change for citizen-centric eGovernment
Welcome to the website of the cc:eGov study, launched in June 2006 and carried out by ECOTEC and the Tavistock Institute on behalf of the European Commission's DG Information Society and Media's eGovernment Unit. The study is now finished, but this website remains operational to allow visitors to download the key deliverables. We produced strategic Think Papers that explore major issues for citizen-centric eGovernment. The collected works produced during the study area and collated into one book is available here
- We organised Workshops that brought together stakeholders - see the details of Aarhus, Denmark, 21-22 June 2007 and our final dissemination event held in Brussels on 19 November 2007 (in conjunction with ePractice).
- We interviewed major projects throughout Europe and you can read the Case Studies.
- We maintained a list of eGovernment projects and scanned the eGovernment Literature and News.
- We encouraged you to participate in discussions through the Forums and to benefit from the contributions of our Working Group members.
Our main deliverable, a "Handbook for Citizen-centric eGovernment", was launched on 3 December 2007. The collected works includes the handbook and all the think papers collated into one book available here
ECOTEC is now carrying out a new study, which builds upon the cc:eGov study and concerns "Multi-channel delivery strategies and sustainable business models for public services addressing socially disadvantaged groups" (mc:eGov). Our new study website is up and running at www.mcegov.eu
